Need to make some homemade garlic bread to go with Dinner? Look no further, here's a simple homemade garlic bread recipe using regular sliced bread!

Ingredients

  • 8 tablespoon softened butter

  • 1/2 cup parsley

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

  • 8 slices sliced bread

  • Parmesan cheese (shredded)


Preparation

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees on broil. Make sure the rack is 4 inches from the top.


Step 2

Mix the softened butter, chopped parsley and garlic powder together. (You can soften the butter by putting it in the microwave for 15 seconds.)


Step 3

Spread the mixture on both sides of each piece of sliced spread.


Step 4

Put it on a cookie sheet. Line it with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy clean up. Put it in the oven on the top rack. Broil on side for 3 minutes.


Step 5

Flip bread and add parmesan cheese. Broil for 3 mins.


Step 6

Let cool.
